I am so excited for Christmas!!!  My two year old is upgrading from a toddler-crib-bed  getting a new car bed and I’m so stoked because I know he is going to go mental!!! He asked Santa for cars little does he know he’s getting a BIG car!

I am looking forward to dressing up as princess Jasmine for Platinum Lounge’s Princess Holiday party!  So on the 15th I will no longer be Ms. Nash I’ll be princess Jasmine from the Disney movie Aladdin!

So. We all know that shampooing our hair every day is not good for the scalp or hair. It removes all of the natural oils which keep our hair healthy. Trust me, I used to wash everyday because my hair was super oily.. but after a lot of restraint kept pushing it one more day..now I can go 3 or 4 without washing. But I do have a couple tricks to keep me from looking greasy. Because I have bangs, it is essential to keep them looking fresh and not stringy. They are usually what looks dirty first, so what I do is put my hair up, leave my bangs down and wash just them (in the shower, or the sink). Or you can wash the whole top of your head.. for everyone with extensions out there, washing your own hair on top will keep you good for quite a while. Also try a dry shampoo- come into the Platinum Lounge for suggestions and more tips!

Can I just say that I am VERY excited to participate in a Platinum Lounge photo shoot. This is an amazing opportunity for all of us at the salon to display our individual talents. We were all given the chance to have up to 3 models per stylist and to have full creative license over what we do with our models. It’s been really fun the last several weeks to watch all of us collect and organize our ideas and to follow through with them. There’s a lot of creativity flowing in the salon and I’m fully confident that the shoots will be a total success. I can’t wait to see the results and to be able to display all the great pictures that are about to happen!
