Hairdresser Education

Our education academy is located in beautiful Santa Cruz, California.  Being a tourist destination, there are a lot of great options for hotels, from budget to luxury.  Plus, our facility is a short drive from San Jose Airport (SJC).

Hair Extensions Classes

The Platinum Lounge, as a leader in the hair extension field, provides comprehensive training in hair extensions. We offer introductory classes for stylists who have no hair extension experience, as well as, intermediate and advanced courses for those who have many years of experience and are looking to take their craft to the next level. Classes are conducted in our salon in Santa Cruz, California and we can also come to you to provide on-site education.

What makes our hair extension training unique is that we teach several different systems of extensions—we do not work exclusively with one hair extension brand.  So, we can teach you why certain methods may be more appropriate depending on your particular client’s hair type and budget.
