Friendly, Professional Service

We have a salon coordinator on staff that will work with you to manage the entire process from scheduling to checkout. We recommend you come in for a free consultation where we can assess your needs and determine the best solution for you.

Location, Location, Location

We are conveniently located in Santa Cruz, near the intersection of Highway 1 and River Street and have plenty of free parking.

Special Events Expertise

Our goal with special events is to get everyone looking their best while having a great time. Each stylist is skilled in working on more than one client at a time, allowing us to work both creatively and efficiently to get your party completed in a timely manner.
Our menu is a la carte so we can accommodate any budget. Each individual can select just the services they want. Plus, we can accommodate any party from 1 to 20.

Swingin’ Do

We will get you ready for your party night out, wedding, or special event with mini services for quick fixes to full service intricate updos.
Exclusive Bridal Swingin’ Do Package $150

Before your special event, we will have you come in and spend some time with you designing and creating the look you want. We like to have a pre-event appointment so that we can assess your needs and determine the best solution for you. This will ensure that on the day of your event we will be ready to go with no unexpected surprises.

This package includes both your pre-wedding consultation and your wedding appointment. On the day of your wedding, you will receive a relaxing luxury wash, condition, shine treatment, and finish work that includes hold and a volume building blowout, along with layering techniques to ensure your style holds for the entire event. We will complete the look with hot tools and your Swinging Do finish.

Bride Makeup Add-on

Let us get you picture-perfect for the camera. Add makeup to ensure a photo-ready finish for an additional $80 and this will include a trial run with consultation plus your full application on your wedding day. Not only will your face look beautiful, but we will also apply makeup on your chest & arms, so your skin tone will be consistent all over.

Hair Extensions

At the Platinum Lounge, we specialize in extensions and carry a full stock of every color imaginable. Hair extensions are a great way to make big changes without damage (or chemicals) Not just for celebrities, extensions add length, volume, highlights, or all of the above.

For the bride

Many brides come to us to get fabulous hair for their special events because we are experts in several systems of hair extensions, including human and synthetic processes.

For the bridesmaids

We offer individual extensions to put some extra fun into the event. They come in every color imaginable. So, for instance, if one of the colors of the wedding is crimson, we can glam up the bridal party with individual crimson extensions for a fun look.

For brides, we recommend a trial makeup application.

Mini-Makeup

For eyes that flirt and lips that are longing to be kissed. Let our makeup team of professionals help you get noticed! With this service we will make your eyes sparkle and your lips shine. Perfect for any occasion!

Temporary Eyelashes

Your hair looks great—What else is there? Temporary Eyelashes! You will be catching major eye contact with these beautiful, long eyelashes to accentuate your stunning eyes.

Glitter Eyeliner

For that special touch, try our Glitter Eyeliner service and your eyes will catch everyone’s attention. Once the glitter is applied, it will stay on all day.

Hair Removal Services

We offer facial waxing to help you look picture perfect. Our technicians have perfected their techniques to optimize hair removal and minimize discomfort. All hair removal services include detailed attention to ensure you leave with a satin smooth finish.

Birthday Parties

The Platinum Lounge is a great place to celebrate a birthday party.  We can offer fun, colorful hair extensions, nail polish, updos and styling lessons, temporary eyelashes and mini-make ups to make your party a swingin’ hit.

Girls Afternoon Out

The limo pulls up, drops you girls off at the Platinum Lounge and the fun begins. Treat yourselves to fun services like mini-updos, manicures and pedicures, and blowouts to get yourselves looking hot for a big night out.

Proms / Graduation

The Platinum Lounge is the perfect place to get looking fabulous for your special dance or graduation ceremony.  Because our prices are a la carte, we can accommodate any budget and have the skills and creativity to make you look your best from traditional to over-the-top styles—its your choice.
