Shoshanna’s color had been growing out for months. She needed something to take care of all that re-growth while at the same time blending the existing color on her ends. Answer? A half-head of very fine highlights matching the current color used on her ends. We were able to match it pretty much perfectly!

A beautiful head of natural looking sun-kissed locks.
There’s also many benefits of adding a few highlights and/or lowlights to solidly colored hair. It’s a great way to to add dimension to your color. Depending on what you’re going for, you can add a few natural looking “sun streaks,” or add a few bold colored pieces to really make your style pop. For solid blonds, a high/lowlight can help your those dark roots come in a little more gracefully and without so much attention on those dark roots.

Roni’s hair hair has been solidly lightened to blond for a LONG while. Her hair was a nice golden blonde, for the most part. From previous color, the hair was a little more golden in some places than in others. So the ultimate goal here was to keep Roni as light as possible while breaking up and neutralizing some of the gold tones in her hair. Answer? Highlights to neutralize and lighten the gold, and a lowlight to break up the solid look, add dimension, make it so her roots won’t be quite as noticeable.
Results?
A lighter, brighter, more natural looking head of hair.
