Leslie Vasquez, President
Leslie has more than 25 years of diverse experience in the beauty industry, including owning and operating a haircare distribution company, traveling the world as an trainer for a hair extension company, and running her own hair salon. She opened the Platinum Lounge in 1999 to create a positive and relaxing environment for her growing clientele. Leslie is a nationally recognized hair extension expert and is a master in several methods of hair extensions, including ProHair, Great Lengths, Hairdreams, and Microlines. In addition, she excels at color correction and has been a hair color educator for L’Oreal Professional, Eugene Perma, and Schwarzkopf Professional. A leader in the local salon community, Leslie is also a member of the Advisory Committee for Shoreline School of Cosmetology. Read Leslie’s Blog
Laurie Davis, Stylist
Laurie graduated from cosmetology school in 2005 and is passionate about the transformative qualities that hair extensions give her clients. Her continuing education includes courses at the renowned DiPietro Todd Academy of San Francisco as well as haircutting classes in Chicago. In addition to hair extensions, Laurie loves creative color work and multi-dimensional highlights. A talented makeup artist, Laurie excels at creating personalized makeup for everyday wear and for special occasions such as weddings and proms. Read Laurie’s Blog
Camila Davis, Stylist
Camila started working at the Platinum Lounge immediately after graduating from cosmetology school in 2008. With a client-centered approach, Camila excels in all facets of cutting, both men and women’s hair. In addition to her background in cutting, she has attended Paul Mitchell coloring classes as well as hair show events around the country as a platform stylist. Priscila Soriano, Stylist
Priscila graduated from cosmetology school in 2008 and joined the Platinum Lounge right out of school. Priscila enjoys platform work and has been traveling to hair shows all over the nation. Recently she has attended classes in New Jersey for Lakme color. Her specialties include special occasion hair: weddings, proms, and avante garde work. Megan Cullen, Stylist
Megan graduated from cosmetology school in 2006. Megan regularly styles hair and make up in photo shoots for many catalogs and websites. Her make up training includes classes for stage work at Cabrillo College and high fashion make up with MAC cosmetics. Additionally, she specializes in hair extensions and hair color. Ashley Busath, Stylist
Ashley graduated from Paul Mitchell Beauty School in 2008. With a passion for cutting, Ashley has received training through classes with Redken and Sexy Hair. Additionally, she has attended color classes for Wella and Schwarzkopf . She has showed off her hairdressing skills at the Best of Sacramento show in 2009 and looks forward to expanding her repretoire of services at the Platinum Lounge. Read Ashley’s Blog
Roni Edeal, Stylist
After graduating from Santa Clara’s Academy for Salon Professionals, Roni has focused her attention on all things creative. Always inspired, Roni crafts innovative styles for special events such as teen proms, bridal parties, period piece performances and contemporary photo shoots. Roni has attended classes for MAC sometics, including advanced training in stage make up, cutting classes with Kasho, and color classes with Redken. Angela Tran, Stylist
Angela graduated from Monterey Academy of Hair Design in 2008 and has been practicing all facets of cosmetology since. A waxing specialist, Angela is the girl to see if you’re searching to tame unruly brows or get bikini ready. Read Angela’s blog
Ashlie LaMere, Nail Technician
Upon graduating in 2008 from Trinh University, she emerged herself into the salon world with a passion for nails. Ashlie has recently been certified by Young nails and specializes in design. Herby Hernandez, Front Desk
Herby came to us as a 10 year retail veteran. He has a strong background in customer service and operating fast-paced environments. Herby is in charge of our busy front desk and an asset to the Platinum Lounge team. Always friendly and helpful, Herby artfully balances both the appointment book and client service. Jillian Wilkey, Salon Manager
Prior to joining the team at Platinum Lounge Hair Salon, Jillian held several positions in which she coordinated busy environments. Beginning in 2007, Jillian quickly became a key member of our team.
