At the Platinum Lounge, every client is a “Lounge Client”. The energy of the salon is a hybrid of fun, friendly hospitality fused with a high degree of professionalism, creativity, and precision in our work.

 

Leslie Vasquez & crew are now at Spice Salon – just a few minutes away in a beautiful, new location in Scotts Valley. We have the same great service and the same phone number – 831-429-6600.

Our new address is 6006 La Madrona Drive, Scotts Valley, CA. Just take the Mount Herman Exit off Hwy 17 and go left at the first light. Look for Surf City Coffee, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, and Morgan Stanley- we are in that same plaza across from the Scotts Valley Hilton.

 

Leslie Vasquez opened the Platinum Lounge in 1999 in a small shop in Capitola to create a positive and relaxing environment for her growing clientele. The salon grew quickly with clients flocking here for hair extensions and color expertise. In 2004, the salon outgrew its Capitola location and moved to a much larger space with beautiful high ceilings, close freeway access, and plenty of free parking in Santa Cruz. Over the years, the salon has added new services, such as makeup, hair removal, and hair smoothing treatments.

The Platinum Lounge is always on the cutting edge of what is new in the beauty industry, so you can trust that we are relentlessly investigating and evaluating the latest products and services to bring to you. Every year, we travel to several hair shows nationwide to improve our craft and to see the latest and greatest in the beauty industry.

Salon Policies

APPOINTMENTS: Hair and Beauty services are by appointment only.

CONFIRMATIONS: We will give you a confirmation call one to two days before your appointment, so please make sure that we have your current contact information.

SPECIAL APPOINTMENTS: If your schedule or special event is not during our regular hours of operation, we would love to accommodate you. Just ask! A special fee may apply.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please help us to service all of our clients efficiently. If you find it necessary to cancel you appointment, please give us a 48 hour notice so that we may offer that time to other clients.

PAYMENT: We accept CASH, Visa, MasterCard credit cards and debit cards bearing the Visa/MasterCard logo. Sorry, but we do not accept CHECKS.
