This last Sunday my boyfriend and I took a little trip out of town to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! Neither of us had been since we were very young and I was very excited!! All I remembered was being so tired from all the walking, and wow was this last experience very different.
They have everything from touch pools to giant tanks full of stingrays and sharks! I loved the beautiful kelp forests, and of course the ever-stunning bright jellyfish tanks.
If you have never been to this aquarium I highly recommend it. I would also recommend getting there early and on a weekday, as it got pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon.
We saw every exhibit in about 2 hours and were able to get dinner on Cannery Row afterwards- definitely a perfect date night!
